Hey everyone! I hope your studying is going smoothly. For me it seems to be going pretty well. It is definitely better than my last go around. The Gleim Review System is working me pretty hard. I like it though.

I’ve noticed that there seems to be a noticeable level of complexity in Gleim’s publisher-adapted questions in comparison to actual CPA exam questions. These publisher-adapted questions are actually good for you because they challenge your understanding of the underlying concepts. The Gleim Review System has instilled a high level of confidence in me. I am roughly three weeks away from exam day, but I still have some study units left to hit for my preliminary review.

Before starting my preparation for REG, I anticipated having Sundays off for family and for catch-up time. However, I have yet to have a full day off. I cannot seem to work fast enough or diligently enough to hit my weekly quota of study units to complete. I am putting in madman hours. I have stated in my previous posts that my last method of study failed me completely for REG. As a result, I had to undertake new review methods. Last time, I used the book and the Test Prep Software. That is it. I know that I shouldn’t have used only those sources for review, but it worked well for BEC and AUD. Yeah, I know . . . REG is different. So after thoughtful consideration about why I failed REG in the last window, it became evident that I would need to strictly adhere to the requirements of the Gleim Review System. My new goal does not just include studying enough to get a 75%, but to overdo it. If I achieve my goal, I shouldn’t find any unpleasant surprises during the actual exam. Here’s to tackling REG.
